Job Responsibilities

  • Administer firewall platforms for optimal performance, software updates, and patch management.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain firewall devices and related security infrastructure to safeguard client networks.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, access controls, and firewall rules to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.
  • Manage FW, IDS, IVS, IPS, NAC, Encryption, and other security products/appliances.
  • Utilize strong TCP/IP networking skills for network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network issues.
  • Respond to technical assistance requests via phone and electronic means for managed services.
  • Document actions to effectively communicate information internally and to clients.
  • Maintain adherence to policies, procedures, and security best practices.

Required Technical Expertise

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Practical experience with network security concepts, including threat detection, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management.
  • Significant experience with Linux, Windows, and Network Operating Systems.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with firewall technologies, including Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and other leading firewall platforms.
