INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT ROLE

Location: Remote

Shift: 7AM-4PM PHT

Arrangement: Remote, Full Time

We are looking for an experienced accounting professional to join our team. As an intermediate accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial support and expertise to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial support and guidance to clients, including preparing financial statements, income tax returns, and business activity statements.
  • Extract reports and data from client accounting programs, including XERO, MYOB, Reckon, Banklink, Cashflow Manager, and Phoenix.
  • Assist with the maintenance and completion of client history and trust details.
  • Prepare basic to intermediate financial statements and tax returns across all entity types.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting or a similar relevant qualification.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new software, such as Xero, MOYB, and/or QuickBooks.
  • Demonstration of energy and drive, positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and willingness to learn and develop within the profession.
