Senior UI Designer Job Description

This position requires a skilled designer to bring the HelloFresh vibe to life for millions of users across the globe. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the continuous growth of our design system.

The ideal candidate will have a solid track record as a UI Designer, a great portfolio showcasing their best UI design work, and proficiency in design software like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and maintain our Design System libraries, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest components, tokens, UX and UI patterns, and meticulously documented.
  • Craft detailed documentation and straightforward guidelines to bridge designers and engineers.
  • Elevate our design game by refining user interfaces to align flawlessly with our brand.
  • Pursue continuous improvement to achieve the pinnacle of usability and visual appeal.
  • Translate design into detailed technical specifications to ensure a smooth transition between design and development teams.
  • Expand our design system to meet new design needs and challenges as they arise.
  • Map out the user journey through wireframes, site maps, and user flows.
  • Bring designs to life with interactive prototypes using tools like Figma or InVision.
  • Ensure perfection by scrutinizing final products to guarantee they meet the highest standards of visual and functional excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A strong handle on design systems, prototyping, documentation, collaboration, attention to detail, and motion animation skills.
  • Proficiency in design software like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
