Senior User Interface Developer

Winona is a leading telemedicine company that offers hormone replacement therapy for women in menopause. We have built all our technology in-house, including an electronic health record system, patient care administration system, patient portal, website, marketing tools, and two compounding pharmacies. Our fully integrated business model enables us to provide world-class care to patients.

We are seeking a full-time, remote front-end engineer with advanced skills to join our team. As a front-end engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing user-friendly interfaces that meet our users' needs. You will work independently but collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end services.

• Advanced UI Development: Implement and refine user interfaces with a focus on user experience, applying specialized knowledge and theories.
• Optimization: Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring they function correctly across different browsers and devices.
• Component Development: Develop reusable components and libraries that adhere to modern best practices and standards.
• Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure applications function correctly across different browsers and devices, resolving any compatibility issues that may arise.
• Collaboration: Work closely with backend developers and designers to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend services, maintaining high standards of code quality through regular code reviews.

• At least 3-4 years of experience in front-end development with a strong understanding of fundamental and advanced web technologies.
• Expertise in Vue.js (Vue 2 and Vue 3), including modern ecosystem tools and best practices.
• A deep understanding of responsive design principles and experience with SCSS and Tailwind CSS.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize web applications for performance, speed, and scalability.
• Experience in developing reusable and efficient components and libraries.
• Deep understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
• Experience with code reviews and maintaining high standards of code quality.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend interfaces with backend services.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of performance testing and debugging practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A continuous learner, eager to stay updated on the latest front-end technologies and best practices.

• Languages: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
• Frameworks/Libraries: Vue.js (Vue 2 & 3), SCSS, Tailwind CSS.
• Version Control: Git.
• Build Tools & Package Managers: Webpack, npm, Yarn and similar.
