Senior Bookkeeper Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing complex bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial processes.

You will oversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities, record financial transactions accurately and timely, reconcile bank statements, and prepare financial reports.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage organisation's day-to-day bookkeeping activities
  • Record financial transactions accurately and timely
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
  • Prepare financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
  • Monitor and track expenses
  • Handle complex bookkeeping tasks and resolve accounting discrepancies
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper financial recording and reporting

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, at least 3-4 years of related work experience, and Xero Certification. Experience in Australian bookkeeping is required.
