Job Title: Technical Illustrator

We are seeking a skilled technical illustrator to support our dynamic design team. As a technical illustrator, you will play a key role in transforming initial sketches into high-quality CAD drawings that meet company and client standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating technical drawings from basic to advanced complexity based on hand sketches provided by designers.
  • Refining and formatting CAD drawings for client presentation, aligning with company standards.
  • Editing schematic drawings based on markup feedback.
  • Completing detailed design documentation post-design development, including dimensions, door & window sizes, electrical plans, and more.
  • Revising floor plans and layouts in response to redline markups.
  • Ensuring precision and consistency in every drawing update.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Drafter or in a similar architectural/technical drawing role.
  • A strong command of AutoCAD and familiarity with PDF markups.
  • The ability to interpret hand-drawn sketches and translate them into precise CAD files.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
