Key Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate and Financial professional to join our organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Weekly Funding Performance: Develop comprehensive funding reports for the company.
  • Monthly Reporting: Create liquidity statements, monitor compliance, analyze reserves, and generate market comparison reports.
  • Quarterly/Year-end Loan Compliance Reporting: Prepare loan compliance reports for major lending partners.
  • Ground Lease Monitoring: Track ground lease reporting compliance, perform variance analysis, and prepare financial reports.
  • Yardi Data Analysis: Prepare and generate reports on rent roll, income statement, budget, tenancy schedule, and other relevant data.
  • Loan Financing: Assist with loan requests, prepare underwriting, and review loan documents.
  • Budget Review: Review and prepare budgets for Asset Managers and Property Managers.
  • Property Exchange: Identify replacement properties, calculate deferred tax gain/loss, and update property tax basis.
  • Aquisition/Disposition Support: Assist with due diligence, closing, and exchange setup for acquired or sold properties.
  • Transaction Summary: Maintain a summary of company transactions and update IRR calculations.
  • Property Tax Basis Update: Update property tax basis on a quarterly basis.
  • Loan Information Management: Maintain and review loan information in LoanBoss.
  • Special Reports: Generate reports on draw requests, transaction gain/loss, and other management requests.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree from a reputable university with honors.
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, and/or accounting preferred.
  • MBA degree an asset.
  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management and/or acquisitions.
  • Experience with top consulting firms or top financial institutions.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills required.
  • Strong quantitative skills and analytical ability.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and as part of a team.
  • Unquestionable integrity and ethics.
