Job Opportunity: Hebrew Language Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of language processing and ensuring that AI models are accurate, reliable, and effective in understanding and generating human language.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a deep understanding of Hebrew grammar, syntax, morphology, spelling, phonology, and pragmatics. You will be responsible for challenging advanced language models on various topics, including verb conjugation, sentence structure, gender agreement, formal and informal speech, regional dialects, script and vocalization, and the nuances of Hebrew writing systems. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of our AI models.

In this role, you will work closely with our team of experts to design and implement language training data for AI models. This will involve conversing with the model on language scenarios, verifying factual accuracy and logical soundness, capturing reproducible error traces, and suggesting improvements to our prompt engineering and evaluation metrics. A master's or PhD in Hebrew language, linguistics, or a closely related field is highly desirable, as is peer-reviewed publications, teaching experience, or hands-on linguistic analysis projects.

We offer a remote contract position with a competitive hourly rate based on experience, expertise, and geographic location. The successful candidate will supply their own secure computer and high-speed internet connection. Benefits such as health insurance and paid time off do not apply to contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements
  • Master's or PhD in Hebrew language, linguistics, or a closely related field
  • Deep understanding of Hebrew grammar, syntax, morphology, spelling, phonology, and pragmatics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a remote team
