Logistics Specialist

This position oversees the management and operation of supply chain functions in support of a government contract.

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight to ensure the successful completion of program objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversight of supply-related functions, including supply support activity, central issue facility, installation warehouse, property management, SSSC, and Class I.
• Coordination with customer and site leadership to ensure alignment and cooperation.
• Development and maintenance of relationships and partnerships with stakeholders.
• Ensuring contract personnel are trained, qualified, and certified to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (associates degree accepted).
• Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A) Warehouse Certification required.
• Experience working in a supply chain or logistics environment.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

This role may involve work in outdoor environments with exposure to extreme temperatures, dust storms, and other challenging conditions.

Potential exposure to chemical or biological agents may exist.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required in certain situations.

This role requires:

• Lifting/pushing/pulling 25 pounds.
• Walking up/down stairs and prolonged standing/sitting.
• Compliance with fire and safety regulations and post policies.
