Job Opportunity: Taxation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled taxation professional to fill a key role in our operations. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Australian taxation and be able to deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Accurate and efficient tax return preparation, including Company and Trust Tax Returns, Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) calculations, Capital Gains Tax (CGT) event management, and Division 7A loan compliance and structuring
  • Mentoring and collaborating with offshore accounting team members
  • Providing support in business activity statements (BAS) preparation and bookkeeping processes to ensure consistency and quality across our operations

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 5 years of experience in Australian accounting and taxation
  • Proficient in Australian tax legislation and compliance
  • Familiarity with Australian Tax Office (ATO) systems and compliance deadlines
  • Xero and XPM proficiency required
  • Background FYIDocs advantageous
  • Highly accurate with a sharp eye for detail
  • An excellent communicator who can train and guide junior or offshore staff
  • A self-starter who can work autonomously with minimal supervision
