About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk at Sanford Marketing Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including data entry, recording transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping: Perform accurate and efficient data entry, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded and maintained in our system.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process accounts payable and receivables transactions, ensuring timely payment to vendors and collection from customers.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory records, reconciling physical stock with system counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Vendor and Customer Database Maintenance: Maintain and update vendor and customer databases, ensuring accuracy of contact and payment information.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, organizing documents, and responding to inquiries.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
