Senior Ruby Software Engineer, SEA

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in Ruby projects to join our team.

  • This role requires delivering high-quality Ruby code for new carrier integrations.
  • The ideal candidate will manage and orchestrate a large number of microservices.
  • Apart from technical skills, the selected person should be fluent in English, both verbal and written, and have hands-on experience in mentoring and guiding team members.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop scalable and maintainable Ruby code for carrier integrations.
  2. Develop and implement efficient microservices architecture.
  3. Mentor and guide junior engineers on best practices and technologies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive engineering initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 5-7+ years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Experience working with Ruby projects recently.
  • Hands-on experience with planning and improving observability and monitoring processes.
  • Test-driven development.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems principles.
