Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing and reviewing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger accounts, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate environment.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
