Linux Systems Specialist

The primary responsibility of this role is to own Linux systems and ensure deployment and support of applications running on them. This includes custom and open-source/proprietary applications.
A successful candidate should be able to support basic Windows DevOps needs as well.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, design, build, and implement monitoring for Linux and Windows applications and their underlying systems.
- Implement client-requested integrations.
- Collaborate with the team to design, plan, and deploy updates and fixes.
- Analyze root causes of issues and provide resources to prevent similar problems.
- Develop automated scripts to streamline processes and updates.
- Provide technical support and develop procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Experience with monitoring tools and integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
