Key Responsibilities:
  • Process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify proper authorization and compliance with company policies before payment.
  • Schedule and prepare payments via secure platforms.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain organized records of payments and vendor files.
  • Generate and send customer invoices in accordance with contract terms.
  • Monitor accounts for overdue balances and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Apply customer payments accurately in the accounting system.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues.
  • Reconcile AR ledger and support month-end reporting processes.
  • Review and approve payroll runs.
  • Analyze payroll reports for exceptions prior to processing.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in an AP/AR or general accounting role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Netsuite, Sage).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with accounting systems.
  • Familiarity with internal controls and accounting standards.
