About the JobThis role involves managing customer interactions via phone, email, or chat to provide information and resolve issues related to eligibility and benefits.
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a high volume of customer inquiries in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent service.
Key Responsibilities- Verifying customer insurance eligibility through integrated electronic systems and payer websites
- Ensuring accurate patient identification and collecting thorough demographics
- Documenting information for patient registration
- 1-3 years relevant experience
- Experience using multiple computer systems efficiently
- Understanding of insurance and medical terminology
- Background in a hospital, clinic, insurance company, managed care organization, or financial services setting
