Job Role

Credentialing Coordinators play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of provider credentialing processes. They are responsible for managing applications, conducting primary source verification, and maintaining a credentialing database with attention to detail.


About Credentialing

Credentialing is the process of verifying a healthcare provider's qualifications and credentials to ensure they meet necessary standards for practice.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of the credentialing and re-credentialing process, including application management, primary source verification, and database maintenance.
  • Evaluate and maintain regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and facilitate credentialing components of new provider onboarding to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Generate credentialing reports, identify and resolve issues, and contribute to the improvement of credentialing processes and workflows.

About You

We seek highly organized and detail-oriented individuals to work effectively within a team environment. Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years of relevant administrative support experience, preferably within a healthcare setting or regulated environment.

  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage tasks collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail and methodical approach to managing documentation and data.
  • Problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and systematic approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues in data and documentation.
  • A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improving administrative workflows and data management practices.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Adaptable Responsibilities: This role may adapt and change to meet the evolving needs of the organization as it grows and evolves.


Requirements:
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Slack, CRM/support software, and comfortable learning new EHR/credentialing management tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail and methodical approach to managing documentation and data.
