Job Title: IT Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our team.

This role is responsible for handling all aspects of IT work, including network security, firewall management, and user VPN configuration for both remote and office environments.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate connectivity, access, and permissions to various applications.

Additionally, this individual will work closely with the IT director on IT projects, including new proposals, overall design, and reporting via project management tools.

Partnering with DevOps/support teams to resolve issues is also a key responsibility of this role.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT staff roles.
  • Experience in managing third-party vendors/suppliers and coordinating their activities.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Direct experience working with US or EU customers.
  • Proficiency in system administration, particularly in main Linux OS flavors (Red Hat/CentOS 6, 7, 8) and Ubuntu.
  • Knowledge of Windows administration, including current Windows releases (Windows 7/8/10) and Server versions (2008/2012).
  • Scripting skills, including at least one of Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Networking expertise, including FortiGate firewall setup and basic understanding of static routing and DHCP.
  • IT automation using technologies such as Ansible.
  • Solutions-oriented approach and ability to work in fast-paced team environments.
