Job Title: Financial Analyst Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Financial Analyst to support the accounting operations of our U.S.-based startup clients. In this remote role, you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate general ledgers, managing daily accounting tasks, and assisting in month-end closings.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)
  • Perform journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure accuracy in general ledger accounts
  • Process and review accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Generate accurate financial reports and analyses for review by clients and senior staff
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance reports

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • 3+ years of corporate accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience working remotely for a U.S.-based accounting firm desired.
  • Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles.
  • Advanced proficiency with spreadsheet software (MS Excel and Google Sheets).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
