Job Title:
Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our organization as a Financial Operations Specialist. This role will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of monthly financial processes, including close process, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Work closely with the Controller to upload financial data to consolidation software each month with comparison to budget and prior periods.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and reports to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with senior management to prepare budgets for each entity and consolidated basis.
  • Manage the monthly close process for entities recently acquired by the company, including bank reconciliations, budgets, and internal controls.
  • Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, and is a licensed CPA.
  • 5+ years' experience in finance or accounting department at a mid-size to large entity with multiple entities.
  • Experience in Consolidation and GAAP accounting.
  • Experience with KPI reporting.
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge.
  • Experience with integrated accounting systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or similar.
  • Private Equity reporting experience, previous experience in financial reporting and analysis.
