Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Coordinator to support general maintenance and repairs activities within the organization.

This role works under supervision of a Facilities Manager/Leader and has primary responsibility to ensure that all maintenance and repairs requests are carried out in line with the service level agreement.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, motivated and able to work independently or under supervision.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the distribution of and response to all service requests related to the facilities.
  • Participate in daily building inspections and ensure that all work undertaken conforms to the Health and Safety Act.
  • Document and report on in progress, new and/or completed maintenance, and repair requests to management.
  • Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs schedule and assist with ensuring that the tasks are completed according to the schedule and update/maintain the maintenance database.
  • Provide support to ensure that all office facilities, tools, equipment, and stock (office consumables) are maintained and securely stored.
Key Qualifications
  • Proactive and motivated individual with good communication skills.
  • Able to work independently or under supervision and demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with general hygiene practices and facility layout.
  • Good time management and ability to work well under pressure.
