Insurance Claim Analyst Position

Job Description:
The Claims Coordinator role at Hunter's Hub Incorporated is a key position in our Claims team, requiring an individual with expertise in processing life insurance claims and adjudicating health or life claims. As a Claims Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting claims officers in drafting settlement, decision, and temporary closure letters, as well as CHUB encoding and monitoring first and second pending notices in the systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist claims officers in drafting settlement, decision, and temporary closure letters
- Perform CHUB encoding
- Monitor first and second pending notices in the systems
- Pick-up and release of checks
- Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Administration, or a related field. A minimum of two years' experience in processing life insurance claims, adjudicating health or life claims is required. You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate policy terms and conditions, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify claim processing gaps and recommend effective solutions.
Familiarity with Insurance Regulations:
You should have a strong understanding of data privacy, confidentiality, and compliance requirements within the insurance industry. Familiarity with basic regulations governing the insurance industry, including data privacy, anti-bribery, and corruption laws, is also essential.
