Financial Data Analyst Job Description

As a skilled technical analyst, you will provide critical support for the Oracle E-Business Suite of our client.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop interface solutions for inbound and outbound dataflows as well as data migrations.
  • Configure and maintain workflow within Oracle EBS.
  • Create and maintain PL/SQL packages to enhance system functionality.
  • Design and build interfaces to improve user experience.
  • Develop Oracle reports within the application to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Perform month-end processing activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide peer code reviews for developments created by other team members.
  • Review and appraise functional and non-functional requirements to design and deliver software solutions.
  • Develop software that conforms to industry and client best practices/coding standards.
  • Offer support and assistance to colleagues where appropriate and share system knowledge.
  • Produce detailed documentation related to development processes and tasks.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience as an Oracle EBS Technical Analyst is essential.
  • Oracle EBS R12 functional support experience in AP, AR, GL, iProc, PO modules is required.
  • Finance process flows and double entry accounting principles knowledge is necessary.
  • A full project life cycle from requirements capture through to implementation and delivery experience is desired.
  • Support and project delivery roles experience is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience is preferred.
  • Competent technical skills in SQL & PL/SQL, Oracle report builder & form builder, BI Publisher, Workflow, Alerts, AME, APEX, Design and Build interfaces, Oracle Applications Framework (OAF), Data migration, Setup migration, Performance tuning are mandatory.
  • MS Office expert user skills are required.
