Financial Accounting Advisory Services Professional

We are seeking a seasoned expert to join our Financial Accounting Advisory Services team, with extensive experience across FAAS solutions.

This role involves leading and managing multiple client engagements within the Control & Compliance space, overseeing planning, fieldwork, and reporting of findings to senior stakeholders, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple client engagements within the Control & Compliance space.
  • Provide trusted advice on complex regulations to clients, including UK Corporate Reform, US SOX compliance, Global Internal Audit Standards, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure quality and risk management processes are followed across client acceptance, contracting, and engagement delivery; proactively identify and manage risks and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members; support career development through performance reviews and timely feedback; contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Support business development by contributing to proposals, thought leadership, and client events; help build EY's brand through high-quality delivery.

  • Proven expertise in risk, control, and compliance to deliver high-quality client solutions.
  • Deep understanding of core business processes, risks, and leading practice controls; strong leadership, communication, and ability to articulate findings clearly.
  • Engagement management: track record of leading teams, mentoring staff, and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, client management, and ability to influence at all levels; active listening and adaptability to diverse backgrounds.
  • Client delivery: demonstrated success delivering client-focused solutions on time.
  • Commercial acumen: experience developing propositions and supporting business development efforts.
  • Technology and innovation: proficiency with data analytics, automation, and AI in project delivery.
