About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend architecture, building APIs and services, and managing deployments/DevOps.

The successful candidate will have expertise in modern backend languages, solid understanding of databases, APIs, and microservices, as well as hands-on DevOps experience with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

This standalone role requires autonomy, technical decision-making, and collaboration with the R&D team to integrate backend solutions with various applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust backend architecture for scalable systems.
  • Develop APIs and services to support data processing, integrations, and real-time applications.
  • Manage deployments and maintain continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Ensure reliability, performance, and maintainability across systems.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate backend solutions with various applications.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience (senior-level).
  • Strong proficiency in one or more modern backend languages: Python, Node.js, Go, or Java.
    • Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), APIs, and microservices.
    • Hands-on DevOps experience: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
    • Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
    • Proven ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
