">About the Role:

As a Utility Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and analysis of overhead electrical infrastructure to ensure accuracy and reliability of utility asset datasets. You will identify potential hazards, provide real-time data to utility companies, and contribute to improving utility service reliability.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct in-depth inspections and catalog utility assets with high accuracy.
  2. Identify electrical equipment issues and potential hazards, providing real-time data to utility companies.
  3. Assist in developing and maintaining utility asset datasets to support operational improvements.
  4. Work closely with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with industry standards.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to support safe and efficient project execution.
  6. Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices to enhance operational effectiveness.
  7. Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skill development.

Qualifications:

  1. 2-5 years of experience in the electric utility field (preferred).
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (must-have).
  3. Proficient computer skills with good written and oral communication abilities (must-have).
  4. Working knowledge of National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), national engineering standards, utility construction standards, and best industry engineering practices (nice-to-have).
  5. Excellent organizational skills and flexibility to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  8. Ability to work remotely and coordinate effectively with a distributed workforce.
  9. Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies within the utility sector.
