Job Overview

The Credit and Collections Specialist plays a vital role in the organization by ensuring timely payment collection, investigating delinquent accounts, analyzing account performance, making recommendations to release orders on past due accounts, and investigating bankruptcy claims.

This specialist is responsible for managing customer ledgers, ensuring payment within agreed terms, supporting the accounts receivable team, monitoring and analyzing collection trends, identifying debt issues at an early stage, providing recommendations for process improvements, building rapport with stakeholders, and escalating internal collections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer ledgers and ensure timely payment
  • Support the accounts receivable team to assist with collection strategies
  • Monitor and analyze collection trends to identify potential debt issues
  • Analyze data and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to resolve disputes
  • Escalate internal collections as necessary
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of finance management practices and understanding of costs, utilization, and project revenue
