Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing the entire accounts receivable process from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills, with the ability to review contracts and identify billing and revenue recognition requirements.

Responsibilities include processing billing transactions, coordinating with customers on billing and collection-related concerns, and sending follow-up emails and calls to ensure timely payment.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for reconciling accounts receivable, maintaining accurate cash application records, and analyzing misapplied or duplicate payments.

To succeed in this role, the individual must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 3 years of experience in the BPO or Shared Service Industry. Knowledge of Netsuite software and IFRS/US GAAP is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • At least 3 years of experience in BPO or Shared Service Industry
  • Knowledgeable in Netsuite software
  • Knowledgeable with IFRS and US GAAP
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a night shift schedule/US Hours and during PH holidays
  • Amenability to work at Alabang, Muntinlupa when work in the office resumes
