Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of quality and safety of products.

This position is responsible for implementing effective quality management systems, fostering customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develops and supervises daily quality assurance activities, guaranteeing adherence to established standards.
  2. Prepares and submits timely quality reports, highlighting areas for improvement.
  3. Initiates projects aimed at enhancing product quality, collaborating with internal teams to achieve desired outcomes.
  4. Ensures seamless implementation, training, and maintenance of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Warehousing Practices, and Food Safety Programs.
  5. Effectively handles product complaints, adhering to set procedures.
  6. Coordinates with department heads and supervisors to address quality-related matters.
  7. Engages with vendors and suppliers regarding product quality, systems, and processes.
  8. Monitors and enforces strict compliance to product quality and standards.
  9. Takes disciplinary actions as necessary, aligning with company policies and guidelines.
  10. Develops training plans for quality assurance staff, ensuring their growth and development.
  11. Evaluates performance, providing constructive feedback to improve team efficiency.
  12. Ensures compliance to established HACCP/Food Safety Program requirements.
  13. Responsible for internal and external audits, promoting transparency and accountability.
  14. Oversees equipment calibration, outsourcing tasks when necessary.
  15. Prepares and approves Certificate of Analysis and Letter of Guarantee.
Work Environment

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will work in a generally comfortable environment, reinforced with personal protective equipment (PPE) in production/processing areas.

Requirements/Competencies

Academic/Professional Qualifications:
College Graduate preferably Science Related Course.

Relevant Experience:
With at least three years of relevant working experience in quality control or quality assurance work.
