Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Specialist to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving complex customer problems related to open source software and operating systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Resolve complex customer issues related to Ubuntu, Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, or Kubernetes and other open source software.
  • Maintain close working relationships with field, support, and product engineering teams.
  • Participate in upstream communities and contribute to the improvement of open source software.
  • Develop bug fixes, backport patches, and work with upstream developers for inclusion.
  • Review code produced by other engineers and provide constructive feedback.

  • Strong technical knowledge of Linux-based infrastructure and applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
