Job Description

Alida is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Community Manager in their Managed Services team. This position involves blending project management, writing, and client management skills, along with quickly learning new technologies to support engagement and health of insight communities by executing a range of subscription services for clients using Alida's SaaS platforms.

This role offers opportunities for growth and can lead to positions within Professional Services or other departments such as Customer Success. The selected candidate must be able to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute community member engagement and community health initiatives, including:
    • Member Hub Engagement Services: Writing and publishing web posts, newsletters, quick polls, and other engaging content for members
    • Community Health Services & Metric Reporting: Gather metrics (e.g., participation rate) to report on community health and engagement success
    • Governance: Attend regular client meetings to plan engagement calendars
  • Foster an ongoing relationship with clients
  • Program and deploy community surveys using the proprietary SaaS platform
  • Support Customer Success & Sales by guiding customers toward the adoption of Alida's best practices
  • Encourage clients to think strategically about how the community supports their business needs by assisting with day-to-day tactical functions
  • Provide exceptional service
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications
  • 5-7+ years of experience in social media, marketing, project management, or client management
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to tailor content across industries
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, organizational, project management, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work in a cross-functional and fast-paced environment
  • Progressive mindset with initiative
  • Strong aptitude for technology and ability/desire to learn new software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
