Rent Collection Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and collecting rent payments, following up on delinquencies, and scheduling appointments related to lease renewals, property inspections, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and collect rental payments via Rent Manager software efficiently
  • Follow up on late payments with phone calls, texts, emails, or written notices to tenants
  • Maintain detailed records of communications and payment arrangements accurately
  • Process and post payments in a timely manner
  • Schedule appointments for leasing, maintenance, inspections, and renewals as needed
  • Coordinate with property managers, maintenance teams, and tenants effectively
  • Prepare and send rent reminders, notices, and payment confirmations promptly
  • Generate reports on rent collection and delinquencies regularly
Requirements:
  • Experience in property management, rent collection, or scheduling is essential
  • Proficiency with Rent Manager software is required
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills are necessary
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Professional phone and email etiquette is expected
  • Familiarity with landlord/tenant laws and fair housing regulations is an advantage
