Senior QA Automation Specialist

">About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior QA Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation testing, specifically with Playwright and Selenium. They will design and implement scalable automation frameworks, lead the evolution of test automation architecture, and define automation standards.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Automation Framework Development:
  • Create efficient automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
  • Ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Implement parallel execution, distributed testing, and cloud-based automation solutions.
  • Test Automation Architecture:
  • Lead the evolution of test automation architecture, ensuring best-in-class design patterns, performance, and maintainability.
  • Mentorship and Training:
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in Playwright and automation best practices, mentoring junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Provide strategic guidance on test automation adoption across teams.
  • Research and Development:
  • Conduct research and evaluation of cutting-edge tools to improve automation coverage, performance, and efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Define and track automation KPIs, ensuring measurable improvements in test coverage, execution time, and defect detection.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in QA automation.
  • Expertise in Selenium and Playwright.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, WebdriverIO, Typescript, etc.
  • A solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, design patterns, software testing processes, best practices, and Agile development.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools, performance testing, and security testing.
