About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team, supporting U.S. Customs and Border Protection in their efforts to protect the United States.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data mining, data preparation, and reporting, with experience working with large datasets and developing data visualizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct data mining and analysis to identify trends and insights
  • Develop and implement data models to support business needs

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in applied research, big data analytics, statistics, or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • Proven expertise in data visualization tools, such as Tableau or PowerBI
  • Strong SQL skills and ability to query large datasets
  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in machine learning and statistical modeling
  • Experience working with Hadoop and Spark
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for software-hardware optimization
