Automation Expert

As a key member of our operations team, we are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to drive the implementation of automation initiatives and improve efficiency across multiple business systems.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automated workflows, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Develop and maintain complex automation flows using n8n, focusing on reliability, scalability, and data accuracy.
  • Connect and synchronize various SaaS platforms via APIs, webhooks, and automation flows, including Airtable, Microsoft ecosystem tools, JIRA, Basecamp, and others.
  • Design and manage Power Automate flows and Power Query transformations to streamline data handling, reporting, and operational dashboards.
  • Create and manage API integrations with project management, CRM, and communication tools to minimize manual work and optimize processes.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automated workflows, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary adjustments for enhanced performance.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for all automations and provide training or guidance to ensure solutions are sustainable and easily adoptable by colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with n8n workflow automation is mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in Airtable, including schema management, formula creation, automation setup, and API integration.
  • Expertise in Power Automate and Power Query for Microsoft 365 environments, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing efficient workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON for integrations, with a focus on data accuracy and reliability.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA and Basecamp, including automation of tasks and reporting, is highly desirable.
  • Bonus: Experience with Zapier, Make.com, or scripting (JavaScript/Python) would be beneficial.
Professional Background:
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in operations automation, systems integration, or process improvement roles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business processes into efficient automation workflows.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills for documenting workflows and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
