Market and Valuations Risk Management Roles

The Market and Valuations Risk Management group is responsible for ensuring the accurate capture of complex trades across various asset classes. This involves reviewing exotic derivative trades to guarantee integrity and control over the valuation of trading portfolios.

This position requires a strong background in structured complex products, including credit derivatives, mathematical risk models, market valuations, and review of legal documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce relevant management information reports to review and assess trades
  • Perform full document reviews against models and trade capture systems
  • Determine whether trades should be amended in risk models or booked
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify root causes of breaks and implement process improvements
  • Continued technical evolution of valuation risk and reserve methodologies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, accountancy, financial engineering, finance, or equivalent
  • Solid knowledge of financial markets products and understanding of trading strategies, market dynamics, and regulatory environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a multi-cultural setting
