Job Description:

Our organization is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to work on various engineering design tasks. The successful candidate will collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers to apply deep expertise in mechanical systems within the context of NYC building codes.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of New York City building codes and regulations, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Experience in mechanical design and drafting is also essential.

This is a full-time position working from home (100% remote) with a competitive hourly rate. If you are passionate about engineering and have a strong background in mechanical systems, we encourage you to apply.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed mechanical engineering drawings in accordance with NYC building codes
  • Design and analyze HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems for commercial and residential projects
  • Coordinate with architectural and structural teams to ensure design compatibility and regulatory compliance
  • Revise and update technical drawings based on project specifications and markups
  • Conduct technical reviews and contribute to the development of project documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design and drafting
  • Strong knowledge of New York City building codes and regulations
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
