Australia Traffic Infrastructure Specialist

As a Traffic Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing traffic management plans for large infrastructure projects. You will work closely with project managers to ensure alignment of traffic planning with project timelines and deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have experience in traffic planning, preferably within infrastructure or large-scale construction projects. They should possess strong planning expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work directly with multidisciplinary teams.
You will analyze and forecast traffic impacts for complex jobs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and local requirements. Your role will involve monitoring, adjusting, and optimizing traffic flow strategies throughout project execution.
Additionally, you will prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal teams and stakeholders.
Key Requirements- Proven experience in traffic planning, preferably within infrastructure or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong background in handling multiple, complex jobs simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work directly with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of local traffic regulations, safety standards, and planning methodologies.
- Experience in major infrastructure projects.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PDF Editors, Outlook).
