IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the onboarding of new clients and services.

This process involves several key steps:

  • Documentation: Gathering and maintaining accurate records of client systems and networks.
  • Assessing Environment: Conducting thorough assessments to identify potential security risks and areas for improvement.
  • Deploying Tools: Implementing monitoring, security services, and self-service solutions to ensure seamless operations.

The IT Infrastructure team is responsible for providing exceptional service while performing the necessary reconnaissance to ensure a long-lasting client relationship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the implementation of our client onboarding program by:
    • Documentation: Network, Hardware, Credentials, Applications, and SaaS Platforms (Azure, 365, etc.)
    • Assessing Client Environment: Old Hardware, Security Risks, and Areas of Improvement
    • Deploying Tools: Monitoring, Security Services, and Self-Service Solutions
  • Exceptional communication with all parties, including clients, project managers, sales teams, and client services.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of IT experience, preferably with start-to-finish deployment of IT solutions.
  • Experience with current Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, and 365 Administration.
  • Familiarity with firewall assessment and understanding of Meraki, SonicWALL, Cisco, and Fortinet.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including routing, switching, and VLANs.
  • VMware and Apple product experience are a plus.
