Project Cost Manager Opportunity

Job Summary:

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will oversee cost planning, measurement, and change management for all internal works on a flagship apartment building project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and record precise quantities of all internal works to establish accurate baseline data.
  • Manage ongoing cost tracking and variation assessments as apartment configurations and designs change.
  • Prepare detailed bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure cost control.
  • Utilize specialized software such as CostX to measure and manage quantities.
  • Analyze and verify architectural and engineering drawings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Significant experience in Australian construction and quantity surveying/estimation for residential projects.
  • Expertise in estimating software such as CostX / Bluebeam / Planswift.
  • Excellent English communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
