About The Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of Tax Associate. This is a full-time, remote opportunity ideal for candidates with prior US tax market experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional client service and build lasting relationships throughout the tax resolution process.
  • Represent clients in sales and income tax audits and demonstrate strong knowledge of sales and use tax regulations.
  • Review and analyze financial documents and wage/income statements.
  • Identify optimal tax resolution strategies and communicate recommendations to clients.
  • Negotiate with the IRS and/or State agencies to resolve tax issues, including wage and bank levy releases, Offer in Compromise (OIC), Installment Agreements (IA), and Currently Non-Collectible (CNC) status, and Penalty Abatements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • 2-3 years of tax experience required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, specifically VLOOKUP, SLOOKUP, and handling large datasets efficiently.
  • Demonstrated interest in taxation and commitment to punctuality.
  • Ability to work full-time exclusively without concurrent jobs.
  • Previous experience working with the US market strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Prior experience in tax debt resolution or negotiation is a plus.
