Financial Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist with expertise in accounts receivable and collection processes. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage accounts receivable process, including invoicing, reconciliations, and cash application.
  2. Handle incoming payments, reconcile, and apply them accurately.
  3. Contact clients to follow up on overdue invoices and resolve payment disputes.
  4. Prepare and issue credit memos, account statements, and other financial documents.
  5. Generate and analyze reports related to accounts receivable and collection efforts.
  6. Collaborate with the finance team to improve operational efficiency and implement effective techniques.
  7. Maintain and organize documentation related to financial operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections.
  2. Expertise in QuickBooks is required.
  3. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  4. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
