Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Infrastructure Shared Services department, you will play a determining role in designing and implementing network solutions that meet the evolving needs of our organization.
Your Mission
You will be responsible for modernizing our network infrastructure, including WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, and Firewall systems. This involves actively participating in the deployment of new links and technologies across all sites, as well as technical migration, testing, and go-live adoption with our selected operators.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation: Perform new and current design assessments, taking into account customer and business requirements, to develop effective network solutions.
- LAN and WAN Design: Create standard sets of LAN and WAN models using High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) principles.
- Installation and Testing: Collaborate with local teams and operators to install equipment and conduct tests, ensuring failover, internet breakout, and functionality of existing network devices such as firewalls and optimization tools.
- Fault and Incident Management: Lead network fault and incident management as needed, handling escalations of critical network outages and complex issues.
- Network Stability and Performance: Ensure the stability, response time, operational consistency, and life cycle of the network, providing monthly reports on activity, quality, and performance.
- Documentation and Handover: Maintain accurate documentation, including procedures and SOPs, and hand over responsibilities to the support team.
About You
- 8+ years of experience in network IT, with a strong background in routing, switching, and security system integration.
- Certified as CCNP/CCDP or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, with English proficiency mandatory.
- Able to analyze and synthesize situations, understand business constraints, and evaluate local risks.
- Open to on-site and travel opportunities.
