Job Description

At Hunter's Hub, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure Shared Services team. This role is critical in designing and implementing network solutions that meet the needs of our organization.

About the Role

The Senior Network Engineer will play a key determining role in modernizing our network infrastructure, including WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, and Firewall technologies. Your mission will be to actively participate in the deployment of new links and technologies across all sites, as well as technical migration, testing, and go-live adoption with our selected operator(s).

Responsibilities
  • Perform design assessments with customers and business requirements to create network solutions.
  • Design standard sets of LAN and WAN models with High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD).
  • Install equipment with setup coordination with operators and local teams.
  • Participate in tests such as failover, internet breakout validation, and functionality of existing network devices.
  • Lead network fault and incident management for escalations of critical network outages and complex issues.
  • Ensure stability, response time, operational consistency, and life cycle over the network.
  • Provide monthly reports on activity, quality, and performance of this network.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures and SOPs.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8 years of solid experience performing hands-on routing, switching, and security system integration.
  • Technical abilities include administration of LAN/WAN networks, network hardware configuration, protocols configuration and troubleshooting, QoS mechanisms, security administration, and WAN compression and optimization.
  • Behavioral abilities include self-motivation, eagerness to learn new technologies, teamwork, excellent communication skills, ability to analyze and synthesize situations, and understanding of business constraints.
