Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Description:

Connext is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead and manage our accounts payable function. As a key member of the team, you will process purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payments in line with company policies.

You will reconcile AP transactions, vendor statements, and credit card accounts, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor records and documentation. Additionally, you will monitor outstanding payables and ensure timely and accurate payment processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process purchase orders, vendor invoices, and payments in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions, vendor statements, and credit card accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and current vendor records and documentation.
  • Monitor outstanding payables and ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Collaborate with purchasing teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies and exceptions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in US accounting.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa).
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, reconciliations).
  • Knowledge of GAAP, financial close processes, and variance analysis.
  • Experience preparing reports, reconciliations, and audit documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in dynamic work settings.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and focused on continuous improvement.
