Actuarial Consultant - Risk Management Specialist
About Us:Cobden & Carter International is a leading provider of actuarial services, dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of risk management and regulatory compliance.
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Consultant to join our team in Makati. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial science, with expertise in risk-based capital models, IFRS 17 standards, and enterprise risk management systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement economic capital and risk-based capital models for clients
- Provide guidance on regulatory framework development and IFRS 17 standards implementation
- Evaluate and enhance enterprise risk management (ERM) systems
- Conduct actuarial due diligence for M&A projects
- Support internal audit reviews related to pricing, reserving, and risk & capital functions
- Bachelor's degree in Applied Math, Mathematics, or Statistics
- At least 6 years of experience in life insurance, consulting or corporate setting
- Qualified or progressing towards actuarial exams specializing in Life, Risk, or Investments
- Strong understanding of economic or market trends and their implications for clients
- Experience in finance/capital reporting, regulatory changes, financial modeling, M&A due diligence, Enterprise Risk Management, or economic capital
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary range of PHP 120,000 - PHP 180,000 per month, depending on experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
Work Arrangement:This is a hybrid role, requiring 2-3 days of work from our office in Makati, with flexibility to work from home on other days.
