Financial Operations Specialist

Our finance team is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of financial data across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be working closely with our accounting operations team to ensure timely and accurate processing of AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

You will also manage vendor relationships, process invoices, and verify employee reimbursements while ensuring policy compliance.

In addition, you will collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate records and compliance, and assist in preparing P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Processing invoices, managing payments, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Verifying and processing claims, ensuring policy compliance.
  • Collaborating with payroll to ensure accurate records and compliance.
  • Assisting in preparing P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.

Required qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • 3+ years of accounting experience (AP, payroll, and financial reporting).
  • Experience with both Australian and US accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS & local accounting standards.
  • Experience with Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting software.
  • Advanced Excel skills & exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
