Workspace Designer Position

We are seeking a talented professional to join our team of experts in commercial furniture and workspace solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality, creative workspace solutions that meet the needs of our clients.



About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and present visually compelling workspace solutions using industry-leading design tools.
  2. Create accurate project drawings, specifications, renderings, and presentations that support sales and marketing initiatives.
  3. Select and present finishes, furniture options, and material palettes, ensuring design continuity and alignment with client expectations.
  4. Review architectural plans, conduct code analyses, and incorporate building site conditions into workspace designs.
  5. Conduct field verifications, furniture inventories, and measurements to ensure design accuracy.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams throughout the design process—providing timely updates, incorporating feedback, and ensuring deliverables align with established timelines.
  7. Self-review and quality check all project deliverables prior to distribution to internal stakeholders.
  8. Prepare and transmit final documentation for order entry and installation; assist with as-built drawings as required.
  9. Provide technical drawings and coordination details to external partners as needed.


Requirements
  • A degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design software, including CET Designer and AutoCAD.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial furniture, workspace design, or a related industry.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Familiarity with industry codes, ergonomics, and technology integration principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of product lines, applications, and technical specifications in commercial furniture.
  • A collaborative mindset and problem-solving approach.
