Job Title

A dedicated Bookkeeper is required to manage financial transactions, process invoices and payroll, and support financial reporting.

About the Role

This position involves maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, processing accounts payable and receivable, and managing payroll through a payroll service. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances and providing support for audits by external entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create or maintain records of financial transactions for clients using various accounting systems
  • Process invoicing and accounts receivable
  • Pay bills and handle expense management software and accounts payable
  • Manage payroll through a payroll service
  • Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
  • Provide support for audits by external entities
  • Compile reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to the operation of the business
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in the related field
  • 5+ years of full charge bookkeeper/staff accountant experience including account reconciliation and work paper preparation experience
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online is required
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
