The Role

We seek an experienced Commercial Leader to drive revenue growth and develop strategic agency relationships in Malaysia.

This role combines commercial leadership with hands-on market development and client partnership.

As Commercial Leader, you will be responsible for driving revenue, building strategic agency relationships, and laying the foundation for long-term growth in Malaysia.

Responsibilities
  • Own revenue growth in Malaysia—build, manage, and close a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Develop and execute the country go-to-market strategy, aligned with regional priorities.
  • Lead high-value negotiations with agency groups and clients, ensuring seamless integration into their media strategies.
  • Build and maintain deep relationships with senior stakeholders across major agencies.
  • Understand local trading models (rebates, AVBs, upfront commitments) and align our approach accordingly.
  • Act as the key contact for client and agency leads, ensuring strong delivery and upsell opportunities.
  • Position us as the leading partner for attention-first, next-gen media solutions in Malaysia.
  • Represent us at industry events, conferences, and thought leadership forums.
  • Bring back market intelligence to shape local strategy and influence product development.
  • Establish best practices, processes, and structures to support sustainable business growth in Malaysia.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure seamless execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital media, adtech, or programmatic sales, with a strong commercial track record.
  • Proven ability to deliver revenue through agency and client partnerships.
  • Strong network across Malaysia's media ecosystem.
  • Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems, with proven ability in revenue forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively with regional teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience to thrive in a high-growth environment.
